A beautiful save

Shows the conversion and restoration of a 'Haake' piano (with a twist). The Haake is modified, strings & old keys removed. In their place are fitted the weighted keys of a Kawai Digital Piano 840. All the electronics including midi, speakers, sound processing board, pedals and power-supply are fitted into the Haake piano. The sound tracks heard in the video are sampled from the demos included in the original Kawai Digital keyboard. The merge is certified by an electrical technician.

The sound is honestly quite amazing! A testament to creative engineering and restoration skills. Before the conversion, the piano was destined for firewood. The keyboard was nearly destined for the scrap heap. What a beautiful save.
