Acoustic Gals and Autumn Nights

Come in from the cool Autumn night for four distinct sets of warm female acoustic sounds by Lori-Ellen Grant, Diana Hickey, Susan L. Grant and Lynette Diaz, on 13 June at the Christchurch Folk Club.

Lori-Ellen Grant starts the night with a short set of original songs. Lori-Ellen is a local Holistic Health Professional by day and creatively inventive artist by night.




Irish-born, Christchurch-based visual and musical artist, Diana Hickey, brings a plethora of brand new songs into the cozy space of the evening. Besides her music, Diana is a trained Clinical Psychotherapist, Painter, and Sculptor. Her personal motto is “Living Life Lightly”.

Christchurch Finger-style guitarist, Susan L. Grant, loves the blues, and is considered one of the best female finger-style guitarists in New Zealand. You can bet that Susan will be hotting up the fretboard when she takes the stage for a solo instrumental set.



Singer-Songwriter, Lynette Diaz will then take the stage alongside Susan, as the two combine their talents to put their own stamp on covers by artists as diverse as Emmylou Harris and Prince, as well as arrangements of Lynette’s original material.
