Singer, Songwriter, Guitarist Ralph Bennett Eades has a 25 year history of performing and traveling throughout New Zealand. Ralph travels and performs, specialising in roadsongs and blues from his catalogue of albums Fat'n'Sassy, Once On a Blue Moon, Sleeping Gypsy, The Travellers and Yes Yes Yes.

He has released records - and toured with his band Fat'n'Sassy, The Housetrucker's Road Band and Blues Company in the 1980's. Ralph has often performed solo as well as being MC at major North Island festivals (Mountain Rock and Strawberry Fields) as well as raising a family, has written songs in schools as an Artist in Residence during the 90's and toured the country as stage manager with his family rock band The Green Bus Co. from 2000.

He now journeys south to support the release of his new CD titled The Southern Journey - a collection of ten South Island roadsongs written since Ralph began his Mainland travels with the Gypsy Fair in 2000.

Recording continued for nine months with his family contributing vocals, didge, drums, and guitars. Friends Brendan Power and Billy TK Snr adding harmonica and electric guitar respectively.
