Fergal Scahill: All Ireland Fiddle and Bodhran Champion.
Micky Martin: Vocals, Irish harp, Bouzouki, Guitar, Flute
Special Guest - Sean McCarthy: 7x All-Ireland Uilleann Pipe Champion

"This duet plays like a 5-piece band. They’re world class." chimed Charles Stone (former Tour Manager of Elvis Presley) at a recent festival appearance by Martin and Scahill, "they’re the best thing here." And so ring the plaudits for this dynamic musical partnership.

International soloist Fergal Scahill and songwriter Micky Martin were brought together in 2008 for a series of performances on Inis Mor in the remote Aran Islands of Ireland’s west coast. Their multi-instrumental talents and firebrand stage presence created an instant powerhouse which has been delighting audiences worldwide ever since. Scahill’s virtuoso guitar playing joyrides over the bouzouki of Martin’s original Irish bluegrass shanties, and lends tender harmony when Martin takes up the Irish harp, while the devil runs back to Georgia when Scahill picks up the fiddle.

Fergal Scahill (Fiddle, Bodhran, Guitar, Mandolin, Vocals) was born in Corofin, County Galway. He has won All-Ireland Championships on both fiddle and bodhran. Much in demand internationally as a multi-instrumentalist, he has performed with legends of Irish music including Frankie Gavin, Paul Brock, and Kevin Crawford. He has toured extensively around the world as a soloist with the Ragus and Celtic Legends shows. His recording credits include featuring on the Brock McGuire album which was awarded Instrumental Album of the Year 2005 by LiveIreland.com, and a highly praised solo album which recently received rave reviews.

Micky Martin (Vocals, Irish harp, Bouzouki, Guitar, Flute) was born in Canada and been based in Ireland for nearly 20 years, with forays to Australasia (including performances at the New Zealand Music Awards and the Governors House with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra) and Spain. Ever the intrepid troubadour, he has spent many years performing professionally from Southeast Asia to Central America. He has received critical acclaim for his passionate song-writing, including the recently recorded Irish Rebel Spirit based on the life of Galway’s political maverick Humanity Dick Martin.
