Izzy Miller Bell began her 23-year musical career
performing and busking in the street cafes of Europe during the
70’s. From Europe to Sydney she gave her first professional
performance at The Manly Summer Festival in 1983.

Island accompanied by some of Canterbury’s finest musicians
including Tom Rainey, Doug Caldwell, Bob Heinz and Jon Maxim
Hooker and finger style guitarist Susan Grant who accompanies her
this year at Whare Flat.
Izzy was a festival guest at Whare Flat in 2000- a festival
appearance that remains a highlight of her career remembered as

In 2003 Izzy recorded and released Blues Angel and stepped
firmly onto the International arena to promote her work. A
highlight of her tour was highlighting Glasgow’s Festival
