Chris Lee and Andy Anderson

Chris Lee's musical career spans 40 years.  Most of his performance work has been as a kit drummer, percussionist and lead vocalist in British bands, a major highlight being playing with Nigel Kennedy in varying line-ups. He also plays keyboards and guitar, as well as his now favoured instrument, the harmonica.

Chris favours no particular genre, refusing to be pigeon holed and plays harmonica in a range of musical styles, as is demonstrated on his first solo CD. He feels that by playing his harps half-valved he gains a more expressive and distinctive sound.  He is also a singer/songwriter.

Originating from the UK, Chris has spent the past three years touring worldwide playing harmonicas with many talented musicians along the way. He has now settled in Christchurch.

Alan Anderson is an experienced and talented guitarist, a writer of engaging and entertaining songs of many styles, and a singer with a powerful voice. Based in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, Alan has been writing and performing his original songs for over thirty years.

Alan Anderson's original songs run the gamut from American Folk and Blues to Jazz, Pop and Reggae. Fingerstyle twelve-string guitar and rich, jazz-based chords and rhythms keep the backing textures dancing, while strong rhyme schemes, visual imagery and compelling topics drive the lyrics. You may well forget where you are for a while.

For his wonderful voice, for his wide variety of songs and styles, for his excellent guitar work, for a good time you will remember, you won't want to miss Alan Anderson.
