With "just a desire to entertain" Rural
Delivery succeed from every angle. A comedy night – with
incidental music – was an understatement offered from one
of the band during the show.

With well over twenty musical offerings, the Folk Club
audience certainly got their money's worth – in the
quantity sense. But this group are more than just quantity
– they offer an infinite variety of relaxed, polished and
surprising entertainment. The band members have a good repartee
between themselves, and this comes across to the audience with
style.
They were well practiced and it showed. I thoroughly enjoyed all
the items. Personally I loved If I Be Lifted Up they opened the
show with. Also Save Your Heart, Freight Train Boogie, Hot Corn
Cold Corn and Amelia Earhart's Last Flight. In between there were
(give or take cramped hands) about six instrumental numbers.
Notable were West Border Express and Pony Express. Such variety
kept the audience happily wanting more at the end.
Thanks Errol, John, Steve, Russell and Clive. Bluegrass music is
all the better for your expertise. Excellent entertainment
indeed.
